Kelvin, six-year-old boy hero, realizes his parents have become fatally boring. Desperate to save his parents from absolute lameness, Kelvin begins searching for a cure, only to discover a mysterious force of super boring evil has spread all over the world, compelling grown-ups everywhere to work rather than play. In an effort to save the world and his parents, Kelvin must find ancient childhood toys and harness their magical powers to defeat boringness for good.
